KNOW BELFAST
“A city with 6 quarters has to be a complicated place, but it was here in Belfast that the impossible became possible and one of the world’s few stories of peace came to be.”

YOUR CUSTOM MADE CITY
Selecting from a pool of private opportunities and close knit circle of friends, Landmark will curate a journey around Belfast that visitors will never forget. From Stormont Buildings, Titanic Belfast, the peace walls, a private collection of Single Cask whiskeys and some of the city’s most memorable murals set within Loyalist and Republican enclaves in the city, this is a highly personal journey into a city still scarred by conflict but united by the warmth and optimism of its people.
BELFAST, THE CITY THAT DARED TO DREAM
From the plantation period of the 1600s to a bustling Victorian city, and without the luxury of old money, Belfast was built on back breaking production of rope, linen, cotton and shipbuilding. The new wave of aristocrats were industrialists who continued to employ and educate a people known for their radical mindsets and worldly views. This influx of workers became communities and parishes that were aligned as Protestant or Catholic and in time British and Irish, until the tensions unleashed after a wave of disastrous decisions exploded into the troubles. Learn from first hand accounts how an ‘unachievable’ peace was achieved through good old fashioned politics, talks and finding common ground.
